What about the other 38 States?
The remaining 38 states (such as New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Washington, Colorado, etc.) do not have prescribed statutory form language. In these common-law jurisdictions, lien waivers are governed by contract law and general commercial principles.
